Rob Richardson is a freelance graphic designer and art director based in Manchester, UK. With 20+ years of agency-trained experience in and around the city, he's delivered design work for global brands including Shell, RBS, NHS, BMW and MINI, alongside independent brands, cultural institutions and eLearning businesses across the UK.
Today Rob works independently as Richardson Graphic Design — partnering with businesses and agencies across a full range of services from art direction and brand identity design to print and editorial, packaging, web and digital, campaigns and OOH advertising, motion graphics, and everything in between.

Across 20+ years, two sectors have become my creative home. eLearning and online education — where I've helped brands like MindTools, Anders Pink and Insights Media craft identities, product interfaces and marketing collateral that turn dense knowledge into clear, usable design. And the cultural sector — working with Manchester Museum, Manchester Art Fair and independent publishers on branding, exhibition design, OOH campaigns and book cover design.
